Check that out. Seems really interesting: people can either request classes or offer to teach them. If enough people request a class, then they will find a teacher for it. If someone offers a class, then they see how many people are interested in it.
If not a model for the Ghost Island Free University, then at least something to think about. An interesting and, I think, pretty encouraging model for a socially responsible university. Maybe we can find a way to make the GIFU actually useful to the world at large. Who knows?
